Interact Club of Stafford

The Interact Club of Stafford is a youth service organization sponsored by the Rotary Club of Stafford CT, bringing together students from across our community who want to make a difference.

Students from any school are welcome to join! The only requirement is that members reside in Stafford. Whether you attend Stafford High School, a tech school, an agriculture school, a magnet school, a private school, or are homeschooled, you’re invited to get involved.

Together, members participate in community service projects, support local causes, develop leadership skills, and have fun while making a positive impact in Stafford and beyond.

Have an idea for a project? We want to hear it!

What is Interact Club?

Rotary International identifies Interact as a club for youth ages 12-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school. Interact club members have fun while carrying out service projects and learning about the world.

Interact clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding. While Interact clubs receive guidance from individual Rotary clubs, they govern and support themselves.

The purpose of Interact is to provide opportunity for young people to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.

The goals of Interact are:

1. To recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity.
2. To encourage and practice thoughtfulness of and helpfulness to others.
3. To create an awareness of the importance of home and family.
4. To build respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual.
5. To emphasize acceptance of individual responsibility as the basis of personal success, community improvement,
and group achievement.
6. To develop life skills including self development, time management, and personal finances.
7. To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve society.
8. To provide opportunities for gaining increased knowledge and understanding of community, national, and world affairs.
9. To open avenues of personal and group action leading to the advancement of international understanding and goodwill
toward all peoples
