At a recent Stafford Rotary Club meeting, Mick Welch from Safe Net Ministries was a guest speaker.  He described Safe Net Ministries as consisting of seven local churches. The group has been growing in its services and now includes Flo's Kitchen, where they provide meals to families in need and Elsie's place where they provide temporary housing for working families in need. They also have a Food Cupboard which distributed 90,000 pounds of food last year and they have purchased a store front on Main street and hope to renovate the two apartments above for needy working families.  They hope to expand and provided counseling for the families that they interact with.  This organization is staffed by volunteers throughout the town.
