Join us for the Stafford Rotary Club’s upcoming road race, the Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K, on Sunday, September 24, 2023! 🌟🏃 We are thrilled to bring you this inaugural event, honoring the memory of Bosco Fowler, a beloved member of our community. Bosco dedicated his time and efforts to various organizations and events in Stafford, including Stafford Little League and Stafford High School's football program. This race is a tribute to his legacy and the impact he made on our town. 📍 The race will begin and end at Stafford High School. Rotary Club of Stafford will meet on Wednesday, November 1st to celebrate and honor the nominated Students of the Month from Stafford High School at our monthly meeting at the West Stafford Fire Department. Dinner will be provided (sandwiches from Big Y, chips, desserts) at a cost of $5 per person (Rotary members only) via cash at the event. Rotary members will also provide dessert - please email Laura at laura.lybarger@gmail.com with what you will be bringing. Our regular meeting will immediately follow the celebration. Come by the Stafford Library on Thursday, November 2, 2023 between 5:30PM and 8:00PM to find out! Multiple volunteer organizations from Stafford will have displays set up in the library to show what their groups do and how they each support our great town. If you've been wanting to volunteer, but didn't know where to start - this is the event for you. Light refreshments will be served in the cafe. |

Stafford Rotary Club will once again be participating this year in the Stafford Winterfest Parade with our ELF themed float!! Starring two of our members (including our club president) as the main characters with a couple of pint-sized elves joining them. :) Want to march with us? Sign up and meet us at Olympic Circle on Saturday, December 9th between 4:00PM and 4:30PM. Wear your festive holiday gear and your mittens and get ready to pass out candy to the many many children lining the streets! The brightest night in Stafford returns to ring in the holiday season on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (weather date December 10). A festive hometown tradition, WinterFest features live performances, visits with Santa, a community bonfire, the Parade of Lights, hundreds of luminaries throughout Main Street, and more! The World Affairs Seminar, organized by Rotary International, is an international youth initiative aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of global issues among young people worldwide. Through discussions and collaboration, participants focus on comprehending the root causes of international conflicts with the belief that cooperating to understand and develop solutions can contribute to peaceful problem resolution.
A portion of the evening's proceeds will be generously donated to Stafford Rotary Club from Four Seasons by the Lake to help fund our student's travel expenses. Can't make it for dinner?
