Rotary Club of Stafford CT met to honor Stafford Public Schools Students of the Month on February 1, 2023.
On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the Rotary Club of Stafford CT met to honor the students of the month from December, January, and February. Families and staff joined us for dinner and dessert to celebrate all they’ve accomplished this year. After dinner, Rotary members asked the students questions about their future plans.
All nominated students met some or all of the following criteria:
*Exemplifying the philosophy of “Service Above Self”
*Demonstrating high ethical standards
*Performing community service in a manner that improves their community
*Acceptable academic performance (the student must be performing to the best of their ability)
The Student of the Month for December 2022 was Drea Oswell – nominated by Assistant Principal, Tim Kinel
The Student of the Month for January 2023 was Jhatna Mata, nominated by Educator, Jessie Makela
The Student of the Month for February 2023 was Isabella Irwin, nominated by Principal, Marco Pelliccia
