Stafford Rotary honors three outstanding Stafford Middle School students at February's Student of the Month ceremony.
For many years, Stafford Rotary Club has been honoring our Stafford students through our Student of the Month events. Three times a year, teachers and school staff nominate some amazing kids and we host a dinner and celebration of all they've accomplished. This month, for the first time, we were so proud to recognize three fantastic and accomplished students from Stafford Middle School at our Student of the Month ceremony!
December: Matthew McLeod, nominated by SMS English Teacher, Ms. Lisa Tomas
January: Luke Kelley, nominated by SMS English Teacher, Ms. Melanie Morrill
February: Logan Moore, nominated by SMS Art Teacher, Ms. Tara Morgan and SMS Spanish Teacher, Ms. Katie Pease
In addition to the teachers, students and their families, we welcomed special guests Dr. Laura Norbut, Interim Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Timothy Kinel, Stafford Middle School Principal, and Ms. Katy Desrosiers , Stafford Middle School Assistant Principal.
We at Rotary are all about giving back to the community and these students exemplify many great qualities! It was a wonderful evening!
