The Rotary Club of Stafford was honored to sponsor Stafford High School senior Jadyn Kun at the 2024 World Affairs Seminar held at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. From June 22-28, Jadyn had the unique opportunity to engage with students from across the globe on the seminar’s theme, "Democracy and Governance: Evolving Global Perspectives."
In August, Jadyn presented to the entire Rotary Club, sharing her incredible experiences and the remarkable individuals she met. She highlighted the Diplomacy Simulation exercise and a mock UN negotiation as some of the most impactful activities, allowing her to gain a deeper understanding of global issues and diverse perspectives.
Jadyn expressed how these experiences broadened her worldview, emphasizing that despite differing political views, collaboration and mutual respect are possible. As she aspires to become an elementary school teacher, Jadyn is eager to apply the lessons learned in adaptability and problem-solving to both her academics and future profession.
We are proud of Jadyn's achievements and look forward to seeing how she continues to make a positive impact on our community and beyond.
