Interact Club Grows Kindness

Last week, Grade 2 students at Stafford Elementary School had a special visit from members of the Stafford Interact Club for a project called "The Kindness Chronicles"—a beautiful example of youth-led leadership and service!

 

Second grade students were treated to a read aloud from the high schoolers and then made kindness bookmarks. Classroom teachers received a copy of the read aloud, The Kindness Book and each student received a copy of the book, How a Dinosaur Learns to be Kind. What makes this even more inspiring? The high school students independently applied for and received a grant from Kindness Grows Here and planned every aspect of this project on their own.
