Runners, families, and volunteers came together for the 3rd Annual Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K & Kids’ Fun Run, celebrating community spirit and hometown pride in an unforgettable day of fitness, fun, and friendship.
Stafford was full of energy and excitement as runners, families, and volunteers came together for the 3rd Annual Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K Road Race & Kids’ Fun Run. The Rotary Club's annual event once again showcased what makes our town so special — a true sense of community, teamwork, and pride.
From the early-morning setup to the final finishers crossing the line, the day was filled with smiles, encouragement, and the kind of small-town spirit that brings people back year after year. Participants came from across Connecticut and beyond, including members of the Run 169 Towns Society, local families, and dedicated teams like Stafford Savings Bank, all joining together to support a great cause and honor the memory of Bosco Fowler.
After the race, participants and spectators enjoyed a community cookout, music, and plenty of laughter as friends new and old celebrated another successful year. The Kids’ Fun Run brought big cheers and even bigger smiles, reminding everyone why this event has become such a special Stafford tradition.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made the day possible — our volunteers, sponsors, town departments, and especially our participants. Your enthusiasm and support help make this event not only a race, but a celebration of community and connection.
