On our 3rd Wednesday of the month meeting we were honored to have several guests. They were as follows:
Debbie Carron, the Service Corps Advisor at Stafford High
Hannah Seddon, The Service Corps President
Valerie Girard, The Service Corps Vice President
Mary-Beth Hall The District Interact Advisor
New Members ; Tami Rossi and Stephanie Irving.
We started the meeting by having the Service Corps do a presentation on how they operate and the things that they do to help the community.
We then had Mary- Beth talk about the Interact Clubs and the advantages of having the Service Club associate with Rotary as an Interact club.
President Ilene Whitmarsh announced the passing of Pat Collins Mom and passed around a sympathy card for all to sign. Pats Mom joined us on many events and activities along with Pat and we enjoyed having her volunteer and help us.
Kelly Brengi talked about the Hole in Wall Gang Walk a thon and handed out tshirts that the group sent for our participation and donation.
It was an honor and a pleasure to Welcome Tami Rossi, our Town Assessor and Stephanie Iriving, our Town Tax Collector to our club. They and Ron Houle (who could not make it) received welcome packets and are officially our newest Rotarians.
Upcoming Events:
Christmas Party is Tues Dec 1st- $20 per person at Sun Valley. We need a head count by Nov 27th. The Lions Club will be joining us and the Madrigals will be singing. We are looking for Raffle Gifts from Members. If you would like to donate a bottle of wine, a gift certificate, a craft or basket, your donation will be greatly appreciated. jPlease let Kimber ly know if you (and any guests you would like to bring) our attending and also if you are bringing a raffle price.
