Stafford Farm Day

Stafford Farm Day will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 9:30AM to 4:30PM at Heritage Park.Visit the Stafford Agricultural Advisory Commission's page for more information. Stop by the Rotary Club of Stafford CT table to learn more about Rotary and what we do for the Stafford community. We will also be selling raffle tickets and handing out bubbles!

Organized and hosted by the Stafford Agricultural Commission, Farm Day features agricultural displays, events and demonstrations, kids’ activities, farm products, entertainment, animal and farm exhibits, farm tours, food and merchant vendors, and SO much more! Meet your local farm-neighbors, learn about our local food community, and experience the togetherness fostered by small-town agriculture. Don't miss this end-of-summer, hometown tradition.

Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K & Kids' Fun Run

🏃🌟 Exciting News! Join us for the Stafford Rotary Club’s upcoming road race, the Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K, on Sunday, September 24, 2023! 🌟🏃

We are thrilled to bring you this inaugural event, honoring the memory of Bosco Fowler, a beloved member of our community. Bosco dedicated his time and efforts to various organizations and events in Stafford, including Stafford Little League and Stafford High School's football program. This race is a tribute to his legacy and the impact he made on our town.

📍 The race will begin and end at Stafford High School. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for an incredible experience!

🌟 Here are some important details about the event:

🏃‍♀️ 5K Run:

Pre-registration fee: $30.00
Same-day registration fee: $35.00
Open to all ages and fitness levels
T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registrants!

🏃‍♂️ Kids Fun Run:

Pre-registration fee: $10.00
Same-day registration fee: $15.00
Open to children aged 12 and under
Kids Fun Run distance: 1/2 mile

🎉 Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit. A free barbeque will be provided to all participants following the race with treats from Ice Cream Depot. A portion of the day’s proceeds will go to the Citizen Scholarship Foundation to directly support our Stafford students. Your involvement will make a difference!

2023 Stafford Volunteer Fair

Interested in volunteering in your community? Do you want to see what different groups in Stafford do to support our town? Come by the Stafford Library on Thursday, November 2, 2023 between 5:30PM and 8:00PM to find out!

Multiple volunteer organizations from Stafford will have displays set up in the library to show what their groups do and how they each support our great town. If you've been wanting to volunteer, but didn't know where to start - this is the event for you. Light refreshments will be served in the cafe.
