Join in the holiday cheer as the Rotary Club of Stafford and Lions Club of Stafford celebrate the end of the year. The cost is $30 per person and family and friends are welcome to join. Dinner will be buffet style and will include an appetizer table, a beef option, a fish option, vegetables, salad, and potatoes. There will be a cash bar available. Members are asked to bring a dessert and a small item for the raffle. Downtown Stafford!
Stafford WinterFest The brightest night in Stafford returns to ring in the holiday season on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (weather date December 11). A festive hometown tradition, WinterFest features live performances, visits with Santa, a community bonfire, the Parade of Lights, hundreds of luminaries throughout Main Street, and more! Special Events Schedule
Museum Open House - 3:00pm - 7:00pm Explore two-floors of Stafford’s rich heritage and connect to our local history! The Museum’s little gift shop will be open, give the gift of history this season! Live Nativity - 3:00pm Live Nativity Performance with real actors and animals will take place on the lawn of the First United Methodist Church at 8 Church Street. Hyde Park Wagon Rides - 3:00pm - 4:45pm & 6:00pm - 7:00pm Bundle up and take a festive wagon ride! Truly a charming and memorable experience, passengers should meet near the Historical Society (5 Spring Street). Rides will be offered before and after the parade, and on a first come, first serve basis and may vary based on road closure schedule. Parade of Lights - 5:00pm Step-off at 5:00pm from Olympic Circle, down Main Street to Town Hall, with entrants lighted for evening viewing. In Haymarket Common, enjoy a simultaneous performance from the SHS Band & Color Guard. Intended to promote positivity and togetherness, all businesses, clubs, civic groups, and residents are welcome to register and join the lighted convoy! Viewing is everywhere between Olympic Circle and Town Hall!

WinterFest Marketplace In addition to favorite bricks-and-mortars, browse a selection pop-up merchants in Haymarket Common, starting at 3:00pm. Caroling, Mix + Mingle Community carol sing with the SHS Choir, community bonfire, visits with Santa In Haymarket Common (31 Main Street), and more immediately following the parade, approximately 5:30pm. Letters to Santa We’ve made special arrangements with the North Pole! Children may drop their letters to Santa in the big red mailbox located outside the Police Station. Make sure to include the senders first/last name and return mailing address on each letter so Santa can mail a response! |

The Stafford Rotary Club is helping sponsor and participating in the Stafford Community Wide Cleanup! This event invites all citizens to join in a grassroots spring-cleaning movement on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Families, friend groups, neighbors, civic organizations, and businesses are invited to join forces by picking up litter from yards, parks, streets, open spaces, waterways, and other public areas. All registered participants will receive free cleanup kits – designated collection bags, gloves, and safety vests – and access to no-cost event day trash disposal. Volunteers are encouraged to choose a location that is important to them. The goal is to help beautify our town, unify neighbors for a rewarding and productive day, and make Stafford a more enjoyable place to live and play!
Everyone that participates in cleaning efforts is also invited to attend a celebratory appreciation picnic in Hyde Park from 12:00pm - 2:00pm with food, music, and Earth Day-inspired activities. |

Join us for a Paint and Sip Fundraiser to benefit the Stafford Rotary Club on Sunday, April 23rd, from 3pm to 5pm at 64 Main St. in Stafford Springs (right next to the Stafford Cidery). Painting instruction provided by Paint Sip Fun in Somers (https://www.paintsipfun.com/).
Not only will you have the opportunity to paint and take home a beautiful masterpiece, but there will also be raffles with fantastic prizes and delicious desserts - feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. It's the perfect afternoon out for a good cause!

Take the night off from cooking and come out and support the Stafford Rotary Club at our Dining for a Cause fundraiser at Basil's, right here in Stafford Springs!
On April 26th from 4PM to 9PM, a portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Stafford Rotary Club. Take-out orders are included, so you can still participate even if you can't make it to the restaurant.
The Stafford Rotary Club is a service organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. We support a variety of local initiatives and programs, including scholarships for students, volunteering at community events, and more. You can take the night off from cooking and support our important work at the same time!

Don’t miss the fun and educational activities children and their families can enjoy at the upcoming “2nd Annual Stafford Child Safety Day” being organized by West Stafford School. This free (rain or shine) event will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 2:00-4:00pm at Stafford High School located at 145 Orcuttville Road in Stafford Springs.
Stafford Child Safety Day will offer interactive vehicle displays featuring police cruisers, fire trucks, an ambulance, a high-tech satellite truck, several military vehicles, an environmental display, an aerial drone demonstration, interactive vehicle safety displays, and a dental truck to explore. An exciting fair weather option will be viewing the Trooper Two helicopter from the CT State Police Aviation Unit!
Stafford Rotary Club will be selling refreshements to raise money for our club's efforts and sharing information about the Stafford Self-Guided Historical Tour project. Please stop by and see us!
